Operate Dusk
Run Dusk infrastructure by first choosing the network and node role that match your objective. The operator guides then cover setup, upgrades, monitoring, recovery, and troubleshooting.
Start here
Section titled “Start here” Choose a Network Compare mainnet, testnet, and development environments before configuring a node.
Provisioner Node Stake DUSK and operate a node that can participate in consensus.
Archive Node Retain complete chain history for historical queries and infrastructure services.
Prover Node Review the requirements and setup path for proof-generation infrastructure.
Operator workflow
Section titled “Operator workflow”- Choose a network and confirm its endpoints and chain ID.
- Choose the appropriate provisioner, archive, or prover role.
- Follow the role-specific installation and configuration instructions.
- Configure the node wallet when the role requires one.
- Establish maintenance and monitoring before treating the node as production infrastructure.
Common tasks
Section titled “Common tasks” Upgrade a Node Apply a supported node release and verify the service after upgrading.
Sync and Re-Sync Restore a default node from a published state snapshot and verify recovery.
Recover After Slashing Restore consensus participation safely after a provisioner has been slashed.
Troubleshoot Diagnose common service, synchronization, connectivity, and consensus problems.
